SUNJET II Forum, Europe-Japan Cooperation in the domain of R&T for Aviation, Paris AirShow 2017

The SUNJET II Consortium has the pleasure to invite you to the SUNJET II Forum on "Europe-Japan Cooperation in the domain of R&T for Aviation", which will be held on the 21st of June 2017 during the International Paris Air Show 2017 at VIPARIS Conference Centre (Hall 2C) room 3.

The experience gained through numerous bilateral collaborations between EU and Japanese entities, but also several co-funded collaborative projects in FP7 and H2020, make it evident that both Europe and Japan have a lot to gain from working together and combining expertise in Aviation related research activities.

SUNJET II, brings together diverse stakeholders from Europe and Japan and aims to create roadmaps in the fields of Airframe, Engine, Systems and Equipment with the support of the Industry, R&T Institutions, Academia and Clusters Communities. Furthermore, SUNJET-II will acts as a facilitator towards further enhancement of EU-Japan R&T cooperation in Aviation. This is done through the development of openly accessible tools, allowing the creation of new partnerships, the provision of practical advice and best practices for working together and the identification of research topics of mutual interest.

The SUNJET II forum aims to:
• Provide the policy-making authorities' perspective on the importance of EU-Japan collaboration in aviation,
• Clearly demonstrate the benefits of working together through a number of presentations of successful EU-Japan common research activities.

SUNJET II acts as a facilitator towards further enhancement of EU-Japan R&T cooperation in Aviation. Therefore the SUNJET II Forum will be a great opportunity for European and Japanese companies, universities and research institutes active in aviation related research, including systems integration and aircraft related electrical technologies, to interact and work together.
